love him, or hate him, you cannot deny the influence Richie has as both a player and a captain. i have found this article in the NZ Herald that seems to have found some stats to show how much of a influence he does have. recall, that the only 2 tests the ABs lost last year were when he was out injured. now while we can all say that stats can tell a thousand stories, these ones however, are undeniable.

Okay BP, I am hating, slightly, Richie is a legend. But how can we be raving about win percentage with nothing to show for it. Richie needs to get a world cup first. You better pray that the AB’s get that 2011 Trophy coz you will not hear the end of it from me if they don’t, better yet, if the Boks take it on NZ soil…………….

luckily for us, there’s still 2 years left to go, and the way things are panning out, we wnot go into it as favourites,
AND we’re playing france in the pool stage, so, no bogey team to lose to…!
