Jake White will link up with some of the Springboks he lead to the Rugby World Cup Title when the Barbarians take on Australia at Wembley on December 3. White will be coaching the Barbarians and he has a wealth of great talent at his disposal. But we all know that even with the great names on paper the ‘Bar-Bars’ usually have, they never seem to quite pull it off on the field as they only have 5 days together to prepare for the game.

Combinations are critical in the game of rugby and 5 days is not enough to get them right, no matter how great a player you are. The Barbarians usually come out to have fun and showboat for the crowd. Carlos Spencer enjoyed playing for the Barbarians and we enjoyed seeing his party tricks. I hope we will be in for a treat come December 3.
