Australia coach, Robbie Deans has named his starting lineup for the fourth and final Bledisloe Cup match on Saturday. After New Zealand named their lineup on Tuesday, Deans has had time to come up with a plan to beat the All Blacks based on the starting XV, Deans’ plan sees him go with Captain Sterling Mortlock at inside centre to try and attack Dan Carter.

Dan Carter has been moved from his more traditional flyhalf position to inside centre so that they (the All Blacks) can accommodate Stephen Donald at flyhalf. Carter is not the biggest of players but can hold his own in defence. But the Wallabies seem to think that Mortlock will have a ‘party’ come Saturday by attacking Carter. We will have to wait and see but I have the utmost faith in DC.

There are several changes to the Australia team from the one that started in their last test against New Zealand: Luke Burgess was recalled at scrumhalf and Drew Mitchell called in for injured winger Lote Tuqiri. Richard Brown replaces the injured No.8 Wycliff Palu, backrower Dean Mumm comes onto the blindside flank and Mark Chisholm replaces James Horwill in the second row in other injury-enforced changes to the forward pack.

The Australia team in full is: Adam Ashley-Cooper, Peter Hynes, Ryan Cross, Stirling Mortlock (captain), Drew Mitchell, Matt Giteau, Luke Burgess; Benn Robinson, Stephen Moore, Al Baxter, Mark Chisholm, Nathan Sharpe, Dean Mumm, George Smith, Richard Brown. Reserves: Adam Freier, Matt Dunning, Phil Waugh, David Pocock, Sam Cordingley, Berrick Barnes, Lachie Turner.

I still maintain my prediction even after seeing the Australia lineup that the All Blacks will win by 20.
