The curtain comes down on the Currie Cup this weekend as the final takes place in Durban between the Sharks and the Bulls. This is a repeat of last years Super 14 Final in which the Bulls won so the Sharks will be out to revenge this Saturday. Usually finals are pretty well contested but I see this one being one sided with the Sharks set to steamroll over the Bulls.
I do not support either the Sharks or the Bulls so I am saying this from a neutrals point of view. The Sharks have just looked in a class of their own this season. They have the players, the coach and they pull it off on the field. The Bulls are also formidable with the big name players they have but they are going to find it extremely tough to beat the Sharks especially since they are playing away.
The Shark Tank is never an easy place to go to and win. If the game were at Loftus in Pretoria then we could be talking a different story.
My Prediction: Sharks to win by 20. What’s your take?

Ron, once again, I just have to disagree with you and even more so with Tom. How do you even predict a Sharks victory by more than 12? This is a CC Final people. No matter how the form book favours the Sharks and how much they are the favourites, the Bulls are not going to the tank to just bend over, take a lashing and leave. A few weeks ago (before the news of Bakkies’ injury) I could actually sense a possible upset(call me drunk). While today that may not be as strong a feeling as it was then, I still predict a much tougher game than everyone suggests. I do not think the Sharks will be half as dominant and as free flowing as you are expecting them to be. Put simply, the Bulls will be out to spoil and play off the Sharks mistakes. I do not support either team so do not get me wrong, the Sharks should and probably will win, but not by more than 12.
